Dr. Lidia S. Adkins graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sherman College where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.

While at Sherman, Dr. Adkins received advanced training in Radiology, Activator Technique, Partum and Pediatric Care. She is certified in Webster Technique. This technique allows for specific chiropractic adjustment for pregnant mothers. It is a chiropractic technique designed to relieve the causes of intrauterine constraint. It has been helping to convert breech presentations to cephalic presentation for more than 20 years.

Dr. Adkins attended Medical University of Bucharest, Romania and received a Physical Therapy degree in 1999.

True health comes from within. God put within each of us a life force. When this life force is compromised, disease or sickness will result. As a chiropractor, it is my commitment to assist you, the patient, in keeping this life force active at all times, that you can become healthy and stay healthy. I do this by working on the spine ("pinched nerves") with specific chiropractic adjustments and therapy as well as dealing with other contributing factors like posture, nutrition, and exercise. This way my patients experience relief of their neck and back pains and experience optimum health and well being.

Dr. Adkins has a beautiful son she enjoys spending time with and is married to Josh who is the Minister of Music of First Baptist Church, Belmont NC.
