My name is Robert F. I had been suffering from acute pain on the right side of my lower back, for about eighteen months. It began as a dull tolerable pain but kept worsening until I realized that my normal range of movement was being reduced so much, that I was avoiding even basic activities as reaching under my desk or even bending to retrieve fallen objects. None of the remedies I applied, nor the chiropractic adjustments that I had been receiving from another provider, brought any lasting relief. Apparently, I thought, my scoliosis,(that heretofore never really bothered me), was now worsening and this disabling pain will be with me as I aged.
My desperate search for alternative help, led me to the Carolinas Wellness Center where I was introduced to the ATM2 system by Dr. Lidia Adkins. She quickly evaluated my condition and designed a treatment program for me to follow.
After three weeks of care, my pain which I described as a 7 (10 being the worst pain, 0 being no pain), at the start, was down to a (0). I felt so very free to move again. Also, what really excited me was the marked visible improvement of my scoliosis, when Dr. Adkins showed me my before and after treatment photographs.
My appreciation overflows for Dr. Adkins for her brand of care that afforded so much restoration to my quality of life.

I have received the best care possible from Dr. Adkins. I first came to Dr. Adkins when, after working out, severe lower back spasms began when I started to move. Trying to walk, sit or stand up, every movement triggered paralyzing pain. I kept thinking the pain would go away on its own. It didn’t and I missed 3 days of work. Dr. Adkins’ office made an immediate appointment for me and she knew exactly what to do the morning I first came in. She explained what was causing my pain and took x-rays and thoroughly explained the care plan that would stop the spasms and ease the pain. It worked!
I haven’t had another spasm since I first came to Dr. Adkins. Every time I see Dr. Adkins I leave the office feeling relaxed and ready for the day!

When I started having major pain in my lower back in late April of this year and a friend suggested that I see a doctor my first reaction was I don’t think so. I’m not the kind of person to try anything new and I stay as far away from doctors as possible, I’ve always been intimidated by them. My first appointment with Dr. Adkins was early in May and I can honestly say she has never made me feel that way. She has a natural ability to out a patient at ease when they come to her office, talking to you as an individual person, not just another patient.
What’s so amazing to me is that there were results that very first visit. I came into the office that day with a back pain level of 9-10 (10 being the worst pain, 0 being no pain) and now I’m at the level of about 1-2. The added bonus…no migraines! I would have at least one migraine a month and about every third month they would be so bad, I was not able to function and do daily task. I would never had thought that my back pain was related to my migraines and I may not fully understand the connection, but I do know that I feel better now than I have in years.

My name is Karen and …. I have had carpal tunnel but didn’t know what it was and I have developed the habit of rubbing my hands because they hurt and I do secretarial work. We were just talking one day about my different aches and pains and she told me she had the system and she wanted to try it on me (for my carpal tunnel). We did it 5 or 6 times and at first I didn’t have any pain for 2 or 3 days and then around the third treatment my elbow started hurting and I was a little concerned about that. But we continued the treatment and I have not done it in a few months and I have no pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Adkins and her practice. She works at alternatives and different ways to do things so I’ve been very pleased with her care and will continue to go to her.
